Wellness Within, LLC
In 2006 Sue established her private holistic wellness practice, Wellness Within. Sue believes that all healing is self-healing and that our personal choices have a direct impact on our health and wellbeing. A holistic approach to wellness includes our mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects in relationship to our physical body. Our beliefs, attitudes, and feelings directly affect our physical body and its health.
About Sue
Sue conducts private sessions doing Healing Touch and/or Reiki energy therapy to clear and balance the client's energy field. In addition to seeing clients in her private office she will also conduct sessions in the client's residence, at the hospital, and at care facilities.
Sue is a:
- Healing Touch Certified Practitioner (HTCP)
- Usui Certified Reiki Master (CRM)
- Social Worker, BSW from Colorado State University
- Healing Touch & Reiki Volunteer for Pathways Hospice in Northern Colorado & LifeSpark Cancer Resources in Denver

- One hour session in Sue's office: $55
- One hour session in the client's residence: $65 (additional fee for travel beyond Fort Collins)
- One hour distance session with phone consultation: $55
- Four session surgery support package: $220
(includes visits to the hospital and the client's residence if required) - $10 discount for students and seniors over 60

What a Session is Like
A typical session lasts one hour and includes a short interview at the beginning to asses the client's current physical and emotional state. The client remains fully clothed and lies comfortably on a massage table or sits in a chair. Lighting is dim and quiet music is available.
Energy therapy is not massage and can be done with light hand placement on, or above and off the body. Most people experience a deep state of relaxation and an increased sense of peace and calm.
Distance Sessions and How They Work
Energy therapy sessions can be conducted over distance with the client in a different location than the practitioner. This is also called Remote Work. Just as radio and television waves can be sent over distances, so can energy therapy.
Distance sessions are as effective as sessions done in person.
A distance session begins with Sue placing a phone call to the client. After the call the client lies quietly in a comfortable place and the session is done just as
it would be if the client were in the same room. Immediately after the energy therapy is complete Sue calls the client again for a follow up.
Surgery Support Information
Energy therapy before and after surgery and medical procedures has many benefits. The following benefits are often reported with energy therapy:
- Greater peace of mind and less stress prior to the procedure
- Need for less anesthesia during the procedure, resulting in less toxins in the body
- Faster recovery from the procedure with less pain and less need for pain medication
- Shorter hospital stay
- Fast healing afterward
The Surgery Support package includes four sessions:
- One session the day before the procedure
- One session at the hospital or medical clinic following the procedure
- Two sessions after the procedure, usually one week apart
